Description:
Toppan Merrill, a global technology leader in regulatory disclosure and communications, is looking for an Accountant to join their team in Sartell, MN. The organization provides an end-to-end SaaS platform that simplifies compliant content creation and enhances collaboration across multiple stakeholders. This remote role involves performing core accounting functions, optimizing close cycles, implementing system improvements, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record daily financial transactions accurately
• Prepare bank reconciliations while maintaining segregation of duties
• Support system improvement initiatives such as Oracle bank reconciliations
• Post recurring, reversing journal entries, and allocations
• Manage month-end close processes efficiently
• Prepare quarterly and annual audit schedules and assist auditors
• Review and prepare journal entries
• Support shortening of the close cycle to meet public corporation requirements
• Identify and implement ongoing process improvements
• Ensure consistent adherence to corporate policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Access, and Oracle
• Ability to work remotely and travel to site monthly for team meetings
