Description:
Toppan Merrill, a global technology leader, is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our remote team based in Sartell, MN. We specialize in simplifying complex regulatory disclosure and communications through our industry-leading SaaS platform, supporting financial, legal, health, and capital markets with unmatched expertise and customer service.
The Accountant will perform core accounting functions, from daily transaction recording to preparing financial statements, while driving system improvements, optimizing month-end close cycles, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily transactions accurately.
- Prepare bank reconciliations with proper segregation of duties.
- Support implementation of system improvements, including Oracle bank reconciliations.
- Post recurring, reversing, and allocation journal entries.
- Manage the allocation process efficiently.
- Assist in month-end close activities.
- Prepare quarterly and annual audit schedules and respond to audit requests.
- Review journal entries and contribute to shortening the close cycle.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure consistent adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Access, and Oracle.
- Ability to work remotely and travel monthly for team meetings.
