Supporting Strategies is seeking a skilled Remote Accountant (Part-Time) to join its growing virtual accounting team. This opportunity is ideal for experienced accounting professionals looking to balance meaningful client work with flexible, remote-friendly hours. The role offers between 25–30 hours per week during traditional business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM across all U.S. time zones).

Key Responsibilities
Client Delight – Building Great Client Relationships
- Deliver high-quality accounting and operational support to clients.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping functions.
- Oversee monthly closings and financial reporting.
- Participate in client onboarding, ensuring adherence to defined processes.
- Communicate regularly with clients and internal teams to maintain satisfaction and service standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and added client value.
Team Delight – Fostering a Collaborative Virtual Environment
- Participate in regular team and one-on-one meetings via video.
- Stay adaptable and eager to learn new accounting technologies and tools.
- Accept coaching and feedback to continuously improve performance and client delivery.
What You’ve Done
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Have 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting (AR, AP, month-end close, financial analysis).
- Possess at least 1 year of experience using QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- Have previously worked in a multi-client accounting environment (preferred).
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a passion for client satisfaction.
- Have the capacity to work 25–30 hours per week during standard U.S. business hours.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $30 to $35 USD per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
