Supporting Strategies is seeking an experienced Remote Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers a flexible, work-from-home opportunity, allowing you to balance professional responsibilities while supporting multiple clients in a dynamic virtual environment. Key Responsibilities:
Client Delight – Building Great Client Relationships
• Deliver exceptional accounting and operational services to clients.
• Apply professional accounting and bookkeeping practices effectively.
• Support client onboarding for all assigned engagements according to defined processes.
• Execute accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, bookkeeping entries, monthly closings, and financial reporting/analysis.
• Collaborate with your manager and team members to ensure client satisfaction through timely communication.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships within established processes and budget parameters.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services or tools to enhance client value.
Team Delight – Creating a Satisfying & Collaborative Virtual Environment
• Participate in recurring team and one-on-one video check-ins to maintain alignment and success.
• Confidently learn and utilize new technologies to resolve client issues.
• Embrace feedback and coaching from your manager to improve performance and meet team/client goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly closings, and financial reporting/analysis.
• 1+ years of transactional accounting experience using QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• Experience managing multiple clients in a multi-client environment preferred.
• Ability to work during traditional business hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST, CST, MST, or PST).
• Strong commitment to client satisfaction and maintaining confidentiality of client data.
