Description:
A rapidly growing retail and e-commerce business in Ras Al Khaimah, specializing in perfumes, agarwood, sandals, and accessories, is looking to hire a dedicated Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s financial operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals who are confident in handling end-to-end accounting functions within a dynamic SME environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of Zoho Books, including managing bills, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation across two retail store locations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
• Process payroll through the WPS system.
• Generate and present monthly management accounts to business partners.
• Handle reconciliation of e-commerce settlements, including cash on delivery (COD) and card transactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience using Zoho Books (mandatory).
• Proven experience in UAE VAT filing and compliance.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in accounts payable processes and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced business environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or trading businesses.
• Familiarity with Zoho Inventory system.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred.
