Description:
MMC HR Group – Recruitment & Outsourcing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Ras Al Khaimah. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong accounting knowledge who can independently manage daily financial activities while supporting general office operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations, and assisting with routine accounting functions. Applicants with UAE accounting experience and excellent organizational skills are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Maintain general accounting records and perform routine bookkeeping tasks.
• Monitor collections and manage customer receivables.
• Prepare and monitor Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
• Handle UAE VAT and Corporate Tax-related accounting activities.
• Prepare, process, and maintain invoices accurately.
• Manage petty cash transactions and records.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Support daily accounting functions and general office operations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong practical knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• UAE accounting experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and financial reporting
• Bank reconciliation, invoicing, bookkeeping, and taxation
