Description:

Al Bahar Marine Services is currently seeking qualified and detail-oriented Accountants to join its team in Fujairah. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals who have strong financial management skills and are looking to grow their careers within the marine and shipping industry.

The successful candidates will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting activities. The role requires excellent analytical abilities, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping activities

• Prepare invoices, process payments, and perform bank reconciliations

• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation

• Assist with monthly and annual financial closing procedures

• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures

• Support audit processes and prepare tax-related documentation

• Contribute to accurate financial reporting and record management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional accounting experience

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills

• Experience in the marine industry is preferred

• Knowledge of VAT regulations and financial reporting standards is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of:

• Bookkeeping and accounting principles

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Bank reconciliations and financial record management
