Description:
We’re Hiring – Accountant
FCPO is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the company’s financial planning and reporting activities. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to handle various accounting functions independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage general ledger entries with accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and assist in cash flow and treasury management.
- Handle VAT filings and ensure full compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist in internal and external audit preparation and documentation.
- Participate in procurement activities, including vendor coordination and LPO issuance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control efforts to enhance financial performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within the UAE.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, VAT laws, and ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
