Description:
Shanasheel Restaurant is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant with a strong background in the Food and Beverage sector to join its team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is experienced in financial operations within hospitality, restaurant, F&B, or retail environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthly financial reporting, ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT requirements, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Support monthly financial closing activities and reporting.
• Record sales, expenses, supplier invoices, and payments accurately.
• Perform daily cash, POS, and bank reconciliations.
• Support payroll processing, staff cost tracking, and HR-related financial records.
• Assist with VAT documentation and compliance requirements.
• Support cost control by maintaining accurate inventory and expense records.
• Ensure proper documentation, filing, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with operations and procurement teams to resolve financial discrepancies.
• Safeguard company financial information and support management with financial data for decision-making.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, Food & Beverage, or retail operations.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with operations, procurement, store, HR, and cashier teams.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Bookkeeping, account reconciliations, accounts payable, cash control, and financial documentation.
• UAE VAT documentation and standard accounting practices.
• Accounting software, POS reporting systems, spreadsheets, and financial schedules.
