Description:
Accountant — Warehouse & Logistics (JAFZA)
TAD Logistics is looking for a methodical and reliable Accountant to join our Warehouse & Logistics team based at JAFZA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for core accounting functions, managing collections, and supporting preparation of financial statements while helping maintain compliance and strong financial controls.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (mandatory).
- Semi-qualified CA or similar certification is an advantage.
- Prior audit experience will be considered a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in following up on outstanding invoices and managing collections from delinquent accounts.
- Practical knowledge of preparing financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage receivables and actively pursue collections to reduce aged balances.
- Prepare and assist in preparing monthly/quarterly financial statements and schedules.
- Support audit activities and provide necessary schedules and documentation.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of ledger entries.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
- Maintain clear records and documentation to support financial reporting and compliance.
