Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Accountant to join our finance team at Dubai Industrial City. This role is ideal for a candidate with solid hands-on accounting experience in the manufacturing or construction sectors, who can manage daily accounting operations and support accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, perform reconciliations and month-end adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor cash flow, assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks and other stakeholders during audits and financial reviews.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience within manufacturing or construction industries.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and applicable accounting standards.
- Proficiency with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks or ERP systems preferred).
- Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and strong organisational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
