Job Title: Accountant (Healthcare Industry) – Dubai, UAE

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and committed Accountant to join a healthcare organisation in Dubai. The successful candidate will bring solid accounting experience and a clear understanding of financial processes specific to healthcare operations in the UAE. You will support financial reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and help the finance leadership maintain accurate and timely financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and inventory control tailored to clinical operations.
- Assist the Finance Head in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and internal management reports.
- Ensure adherence to UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, prepare required schedules, and coordinate filings where necessary.
- Monitor revenues, expenses and cost centres related to clinical services and recommend cost-control measures.
- Coordinate with internal teams (clinical, procurement, HR) and external consultants/auditors as needed.
- Provide financial analyses and support to management for budgeting and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records in the clinical/accounting system and ensure timely posting of transactions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- 4–5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years working in the healthcare industry (UAE experience preferred).
- Basic working knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT and Corporate Tax rules.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar); familiarity with clinical accounting systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical ability, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
