HumLog is hiring an Accountant to join its travel-trade operations based in Dubai. This role is suited to candidates with UAE accounting experience who are comfortable working with Tally and handling travel-related financial activity.
Title: Accountant
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounting experience in the UAE; prior exposure to the travel-trade sector will be a distinct advantage.
Education: ACCA qualified or semi-qualified, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Languages: Strong English communication required; Hindi is preferred.
Work Timings:
- Monday to Friday — 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM (with a 1-hour break)
- Saturday — 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Salary: AED 4,000 – 5,000

Job Summary
The Accountant will take responsibility for daily bookkeeping and financial controls using Tally, ensuring that company accounts are maintained accurately and in line with UAE accounting and VAT rules. The role requires preparing regular management reports, supporting statutory and internal audits, and coordinating closely with sales and operations to manage invoicing and collections for travel services.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting entries and keep ledgers up to date.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier reconciliations.
- Reconcile travel-specific transactions such as bookings, supplier payouts, refunds, and client invoices.
- Work with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare monthly MIS packs: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure ledger accuracy.
- Assist in budgeting, expense forecasting and allocating costs related to travel services.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.
- Support external audits and coordinate with banks or other external stakeholders as needed.
