We’re Hiring — Accountant (UAE Experience Required)
Our client based in Hor Al Anz, Dubai is seeking a meticulous Accountant with solid UAE accounting experience to handle day-to-day bookkeeping and support accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, comfortable with reconciliations, and able to work to tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Prepare and maintain the trial balance and support monthly closing activities.
- Generate regular financial reports and support management with accurate accounting information.
- Perform bank reconciliations, petty cash tracking, and assist with expense reporting.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve accounting queries.
- Support auditors and assist with documentation during audits.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–4+ years of hands-on accounting experience in the UAE (mandatory).
- Strong working knowledge of receivables, payables, trial balance preparation, and bookkeeping.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Candidates currently in the UAE and available to join immediately are preferred.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks accurately.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and bookkeeping.
- High proficiency in MS Excel and common accounting tools.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA Inter, or equivalent.
