Description:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to support the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and compliance across banking, ledgers, reconciliations, supplier payments and reporting, while assisting with audits and process improvements to strengthen financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Manage petty cash, maintain sales and purchase ledgers, and process supplier invoices and payments.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies; prepare schedules and documentation for external auditors.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing procedures and participate in periodic stock takes.
• Prepare payroll attendance reports and maintain accurate payroll-related records.
• Support improvements to accounting processes and help implement controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
What We’re Looking For:
• Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an automotive finance function (experience within the UAE is preferred).
• Proficiency with MS Dynamics or a similar ERP/accounting system.
• Working knowledge of UAE tax regulations.
• Strong skills in reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and attention to numerical accuracy.
• High ethical standards, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
