Description:
Team Safety Consultants LLC is currently looking to hire a skilled Accountant to oversee and manage a variety of financial operations within our Dubai-based office. This is a full-time, office-based position located in Al Garhoud, Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of accounting duties—from daily transactions and reconciliations to budgeting, tax filing, and financial reporting. A strong foundation in financial principles, accuracy in data handling, and hands-on experience with accounting software are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial transactions including payments, expenses, and bank activity.
  • Prepare accurate budget forecasts and track financial performance.
  • Ensure timely preparation and publication of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Handle bank payments and maintain consistent cash flow reporting.
  • Compute taxes, prepare and file returns, ensuring full compliance with tax regulations.
  • Create and manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements to reflect the company’s financial health.
  • Audit and verify the accuracy of financial transactions and ensure internal controls are in place.
  • Protect financial data confidentiality and maintain reliable backup records.
  • Follow internal financial policies and stay updated with changes in financial regulations.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Proven experience in an accounting role.
  • Deep knowledge of accounting standards, especially GAAP.
  • Proficiency in accounting tools such as QuickBooks and FreshBooks.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Strong background in general ledger management and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • CPA or CMA certification will be considered a strong advantage.
