Description:
A Dubai-based accounting firm is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its team on a full-time basis. This position is ideal for accounting professionals with UAE experience who are confident in managing financial records, client accounts, and day-to-day accounting operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, preparing accounting records, supporting tax compliance, and working with accounting software. Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accounting records, journal entries, and financial documentation.
• Prepare account reconciliations and account statements.
• Manage client accounts and support daily accounting activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Process financial transactions using accounting software, including Zoho Books where applicable.
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and organized financial records.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and account statements.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Experience with accounting software; Zoho Books experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting tasks.
