About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and reliable Accountant with a strong background in travel agency accounting operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and receivable, and supporting our finance team with timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle full cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Maintain and reconcile financial statements and records
- Monitor client and supplier balances, follow up on outstanding payments
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
- Work closely with the travel operations team to support booking and billing reconciliation
- Prepare periodic financial reports and support audits.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the Travel Agency or Tourism sector
- Strong hands-on experience in SYSTRIX travel accounting software
- Solid understanding of travel industry invoicing, commissions, and vendor payment processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
