Description:
Velociti Business Management is looking for an experienced and dedicated Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals with solid UAE accounting experience and a strong understanding of financial reporting, taxation, and day-to-day accounting operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations. Candidates with excellent analytical skills and experience using accounting software are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee daily accounting activities.
• Prepare Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
• Manage bookkeeping, financial reporting, and monthly closing activities.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Prepare financial reports and support management with accounting information.
• Utilize MS Excel and accounting software for financial analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and Profit & Loss (P&L).
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• ACCA qualification will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
