Description:
Al Shumookh Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with solid accounting knowledge who can manage financial records, support reporting activities, and ensure accurate day-to-day accounting operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial documents, performing reconciliations, and assisting with VAT-related activities. Candidates with UAE experience and proficiency in Tally ERP or Tally Prime will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain financial records.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payments, and financial reports.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation.
• Assist with VAT compliance and other accounting-related tasks.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP or Tally Prime.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience in invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and VAT.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• UAE experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
