Description:
Diraya Consultants LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing finance team in Dubai. The company provides professional services in accounting, VAT, corporate tax, compliance, and business advisory to clients across different industries.
The successful candidate will support accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance activities, and client coordination while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of assigned tasks. Candidates with experience in accounting or tax consultancy environments will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain general ledgers, books of accounts, and accurate financial records.
• Handle bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and payment records.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and MIS reports.
• Support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax calculations, filings, and compliance activities.
• Assist with audit preparation and financial data reviews.
• Communicate with clients regarding accounting and tax-related requirements.
• Support improvements in accounting processes and internal controls.
• Manage multiple client accounts while ensuring deadlines are met.
Requirements:
• Semi-Qualified CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of Tally software is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Basic to good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Experience in an accounting or tax consultancy firm will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
