Description:
Safi Group is looking for an Accountant to join its team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with UAE accounting experience who can efficiently manage daily financial operations and maintain accurate accounting records.
The successful candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. Applicants should have a solid understanding of UAE accounting practices, strong analytical skills, and experience using accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Prepare accounting reports and financial statements.
• Support the finance team with daily accounting operations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com).
• 2–3 years of relevant UAE accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong knowledge of:
• UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• MS Excel and accounting software.
• Financial reporting, reconciliations, and effective communication skills.
