Description:
Roots & Routes Tourism L.L.C. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, experience managing financial transactions, and the ability to maintain accurate records while supporting daily finance operations.
The successful candidate will handle bookkeeping, financial reporting, VAT compliance, account reconciliation, and other accounting activities. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic travel and tourism environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Prepare financial statements, monthly reports, and financial summaries.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Support external audits and maintain organized financial documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in the travel and tourism industry will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
