A Reputable Car Rental Company is looking for skilled Accountant to join their team:

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining ledgers, journals, and other financial records related to the automotive business.
- Preparing income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
- Developing and managing budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and tracking progress against budgets.
- Analyzing costs associated with manufacturing, sales, and other aspects of the automotive business.
- Analyzing revenue streams and identifying areas for potential growth and improvement.
- Managing accounts payable (money owed to suppliers) and accounts receivable (money owed by customers).
- Reconciling bank statements with the company’s records to ensure accuracy.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and preparing tax returns.
- Coordinating and managing both internal and external audit .
- Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Tracking and managing vehicle inventory, including titles and lien releases.
- Overseeing payroll and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry-specific rules.
- Monitoring and controlling profit and loss accounts related to vehicle sales..
- Assisting with the processing and management of warranty claims.
Requirements &Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
- +3 years of experience as an Accountant in UAE.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups ,pivot tables and Odoo system.
- Experience with general ledger functions Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English & Arabic.
