Description:
A well-established company in the metal industry is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This opportunity is being recruited through an HR consultancy on behalf of its client. The ideal candidate should have prior UAE accounting experience and be capable of handling daily financial operations efficiently.
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with VAT regulations. Candidates with previous experience in the metal, steel, or manufacturing sector will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and general ledger entries.
• Process daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare VAT filings, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure financial records remain accurate.
• Assist in maintaining accounting documentation and supporting financial operations.
• Use accounting software and Microsoft Office tools to manage financial data efficiently.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth accounting processes.
Requirements:
• 1–2 years of UAE accounting experience is mandatory.
• Previous experience in the metal, steel, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial record keeping.
• Good communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
• Strong knowledge of:
• VAT filing, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software.
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily accounting operations.
