Description:
Gulf Toub Cement LLC is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the complete accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the company’s overall financial operations.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting expertise, experience in UAE financial practices, and the ability to prepare reliable financial reports. Candidates should be comfortable working with accounting software, tax-related processes, and financial reconciliations while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
The successful applicant will contribute to the smooth functioning of the finance department and play an important role in supporting compliance, reporting, and audit activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and account reconciliations
• Handle VAT compliance and tax-related requirements
• Assist with tax return preparation and submission processes
• Support internal and external audit activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
• Monitor financial data and maintain the integrity of accounting records
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–6 years of accounting experience within the UAE
• Experience with Zoho Accounting is preferred
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and account reconciliations
• Experience in VAT compliance and tax return preparation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information
• Arab nationality preferred
• Willingness to relocate as required
