Description:
Daribah Consultancy Company is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its growing team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals with a strong background in UAE accounting practices, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing accounting operations, preparing statutory filings, and supporting financial decision-making processes.
The position requires hands-on experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, as well as proficiency in leading accounting software platforms such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Xero. Candidates should be capable of independently managing responsibilities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards of accuracy in financial reporting.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of accounting, taxation, financial analysis, and administrative functions within a professional consulting environment. Candidates holding advanced tax-related qualifications or certifications will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit Value Added Tax (VAT) returns in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and supporting working papers.
• Prepare Corporate Tax (CT) returns and ensure timely filing requirements are met.
• Support tax-related activities, including responses to Federal Tax Authority (FTA) audit inquiries.
• Develop tax planning memorandums and provide support for tax compliance initiatives.
• Prepare financial models, organizational charts, and financial analysis reports.
• Manage administrative finance functions, including invoicing clients and payroll support.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor assigned deliverables within required deadlines.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Previous UAE accounting experience is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Experience in account finalization and financial reporting.
• Proven experience with VAT registration and VAT return filing processes.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Arabic language skills will be considered an advantage.
