Description:
MCT Group of Companies is currently looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for candidates who have hands-on experience in UAE accounting practices and are capable of managing day-to-day financial activities with accuracy and efficiency.
The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial records, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring smooth financial operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage vendor payments and oversee petty cash transactions
• Perform regular bank reconciliations along with customer and vendor account reconciliations
• Handle VAT filings and Corporate Tax submissions in compliance with UAE regulations
• Maintain and update general ledger entries and financial records
• Assist in monthly closing procedures and year-end financial reporting
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial documentation
Requirements:
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Additional qualifications such as MBA (Finance), CA Inter, or CMA Inter will be an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
