Description:
Dashco Middle East is currently hiring on behalf of one of its clients for the position of Accountant in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have strong accounting knowledge and experience working in structured financial environments, particularly within the construction industry.
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting tasks including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper data entry into accounting systems
• Support preparation of financial reports and assist in management reporting requirements
• Work on accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with proper documentation
• Ensure compliance with standard accounting principles and company financial procedures
• Assist in maintaining and updating accounting data within ERP and financial systems
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant experience in accounting roles, preferably within construction or related industries
• Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP and QuickBooks
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a structured and deadline-driven environment
