A company based in the UAE is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for professionals who have solid accounting experience within the UAE and are confident in managing day-to-day financial operations while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting transactions and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records. Key duties include managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections, and maintaining proper documentation for all financial activities.
The Accountant will also prepare essential financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and balance sheets, to support management in decision-making. VAT filing and ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations will be a core responsibility of this role. In addition, the candidate will process payroll, monitor company expenses, and perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records is essential. The ideal applicant should have between 2 to 5 years of accounting experience, along with strong knowledge of UAE VAT requirements. Proficiency in MS Office applications and accounting software is required, with experience in Odoo considered an advantage.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of professionalism are important qualities for this position. The company is looking for a dependable individual who can work independently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in all financial matters.
