About the Role:
An urgent opportunity is available for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join a well-established chocolate manufacturing company located in Dubai Silicon Oasis. This onsite position is ideal for candidates with practical UAE accounting experience who are capable of managing daily financial operations while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company procedures. The organization is looking for a professional who can maintain accurate financial records and support overall financial management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and manage daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, petty cash, banking activities, and journal entries
- Prepare and issue invoices, debit notes, credit notes, receipts, and payment records accurately
- Maintain and update the General Ledger while ensuring precise bookkeeping practices
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and account reconciliations on a regular basis
- Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory
- Prior accounting experience within the UAE is required; VAT compliance knowledge is considered an advantage
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, or similar systems
- Strong command of MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred
