Description:

A UAE Based group is looking for an experienced Accountant with strong background in inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, manage and record inventory-related and daily financial transactions in line with IFRS.
• Perform regular stock reconciliations between accounting software and physical inventory counts.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory purchases, transfers, adjustments and write-off.
• Collaborate with operational Team members to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent discrepancies.
• Perform Bank Reconciliations and month end closing.
• Prepare financial statements according to IFRS.
• Stay Updated with UAE tax law changes, especially related to VAT and Corporate Tax.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or professional certification CMA, CPA, ACCA is an advantage.
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in UAE market.
• Excellent communication skills and proficient in English speaking.
• Salary budget is 5,000 to 6,000 AED.
• Preferred Industry Experience:
• Retail, Trading and Distribution.
