Description:
An urgent hiring requirement is open for an experienced Accountant to join a sister company operating within the building materials sector. This role is suited for professionals with strong UAE accounting experience who can independently manage end-to-end finance operations while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
The selected candidate will play a key role in handling daily accounting activities, financial reporting, and VAT compliance in line with UAE laws. Candidates with prior exposure to inventory-heavy environments and costing within the building materials industry will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Handle UAE VAT filing, compliance requirements, and audit coordination
- Monitor inventory records, product costing, and profit margins related to building materials
- Coordinate with external auditors, suppliers, and internal departments
- Ensure strict compliance with UAE financial regulations and internal company policies
Requirements:
- 5 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE
- Mandatory experience working in the Building Materials industry
- Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, accounting standards, and financial reporting systems
