Description:
We are urgently hiring a skilled and detail-focused Accountant to join our team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with solid accounting knowledge and hands-on UAE experience who are currently residing in the country and ready to take on responsibilities in a fast-paced business environment. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring compliance with UAE financial and regulatory standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely recording of daily financial transactions
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and follow-ups
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Perform regular bank, cash, and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with VAT filings, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Monitor expenses and support effective cost control practices
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation in line with company policies
- Process employee payroll through WPS (Wage Protection System) in compliance with UAE laws
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors whenever required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of proven accounting experience
- Prior UAE accounting experience is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and accuracy skills
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks
- Candidates must currently be based in the United Arab Emirates
