Description:
GSR is seeking a skilled Accountant to join a reputable logistics company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will manage accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support overall financial processes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate ledger maintenance
- Prepare invoices and maintain records of financial transactions
- Apply basic knowledge of UAE VAT regulations in accounting processes
- Utilize accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems
- Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth accounting operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
- Experience in logistics, freight, or transport accounting is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
