Description:
We are currently hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. This role is suitable for professionals who can independently manage accounting operations while ensuring compliance with UAE financial and tax regulations. Experience within the Marine or Offshore industry will be considered an added advantage.
About the Role
- Manage routine accounting activities and ensure accuracy in financial records
- Support financial reporting and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams to maintain efficient accounting processes
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly MIS reports
- Manage UAE VAT accounting and ensure timely VAT return filing
- Maintain accurate financial records and proper documentation
- Work with ERP or accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel tools
Skills and Experience Required
- Two to five years of relevant accounting experience, with preference for UAE experience
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance procedures
- Practical experience using ERP or accounting systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and reporting accuracy
Industry Preference
- Candidates with Marine or Offshore industry exposure will be preferred
