Description:
A medical center based in Jumeirah, Dubai is urgently hiring an Accountant to join its team for immediate placement. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with hands-on experience in healthcare or clinical environments who can manage daily financial operations with accuracy and compliance.
The selected candidate will support end-to-end accounting functions, patient billing processes, VAT documentation, and general financial reporting while providing administrative assistance to management when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately record and post daily financial transactions
- Manage patient billing, insurance receivables, and cash collections
- Prepare and issue sales invoices, receipts, and related documentation
- Perform regular bank and cash reconciliations
- Maintain supplier accounts, process purchase invoices, and prepare payment schedules
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
- Assist with VAT records, VAT returns, and supporting schedules
- Support month-end closing activities and basic financial reporting
- Assist in payroll preparation and processing
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Provide financial and administrative support as requested by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1–3 years of accounting experience; medical center or clinic experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of accounting software
- Basic understanding of UAE VAT regulations
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
