We are a reputable multinational trading company in Dubai seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing receivables within an SAP accounting environment and a proven track record working in the Gulf region. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to financial operations are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Work within the SAP system to post transactions, prepare journals, and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams to follow up on outstanding payments and disputes.
- Prepare periodic reports on receivables aging and cash inflows for management review.
- Assist with month-end close activities and support internal and external audits when required.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Commerce.
- Minimum 5 years of Gulf experience with a strong focus on receivables management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal teams and external clients.
- High attention to detail, good analytical skills, and the ability to work under deadlines.
