Description:

GBC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Clerk to become part of its Finance team based in Dubai Investment Park (DIP), Dubai. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with financial records, maintaining accuracy, and supporting daily accounting operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth functioning of the finance department by handling accounting transactions, maintaining financial documentation, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting month-end activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Process supplier invoices and customer payment receipts.

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

• Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.

• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.

• Support VAT-related documentation and month-end closing procedures.

• Assist in maintaining inventory and product costing records for manufacturing operations.

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance team as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 1–2 years of accounting experience, with UAE experience considered an advantage.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.

• Good understanding of accounting principles and UAE VAT requirements.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.

• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team.

• Immediate availability to join will be preferred.

Strong knowledge of:

    • Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management.

    • Basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.

    • VAT documentation, reconciliations, and financial record management.
