Description:
A well-established and reputable auditing firm in Dubai is currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who already have UAE experience and are familiar with local accounting standards, VAT regulations, and financial reporting practices. Candidates who are available to join immediately will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations, including maintaining accurate financial records
• Perform bookkeeping tasks and ensure proper documentation of all transactions
• Handle UAE VAT filing, compliance, and related documentation
• Prepare and finalize accounts in accordance with UAE financial regulations
• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently
• Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and analysis
• Provide audit support by preparing necessary schedules and documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams and auditors to ensure smooth audit processes
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of UAE experience in an accounting or auditing firm
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and accounts finalization processes
• Hands-on experience in reconciliation, financial reporting, and audit support
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong command of MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Immediate availability to join is highly preferred
