Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant (Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable) to join a growing finance team based in Dubai. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager and plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting daily accounting operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling both receivables and payables, ensuring timely processing of payments, and performing regular reconciliations in line with company policies and financial procedures. This position is well-suited for professionals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of transactions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Processing, tracking, and monitoring incoming and outgoing payments
- Performing bank, corporate card, and virtual credit card reconciliations
- Preparing and maintaining AR/AP financial reports
- Coordinating with banks to address financial queries and issues
- Maintaining accurate AP and AR records and resolving discrepancies efficiently
Ideal candidate profile:
- Previous experience in the travel industry is a strong advantage
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage large transaction volumes effectively
