Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant / Admin. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations
Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:
- Manage daily office operations including filing, document control, and correspondence
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Monitor and manage office supply inventory
- Schedule meetings and maintain company records
- Support basic HR duties such as attendance tracking and leave management
Accounting Duties:
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting
- Handle petty cash and perform reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Coordinate with external accountants and auditors
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Support bank reconciliations and expense tracking
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the healthcare or medical trading industry
- Familiarity with VAT filing and basic compliance regulations in the UAE
