Description:
An organization based in Dubai is currently hiring an Accountant – Accounts Payable to manage day-to-day AP operations and support financial closing activities. This role is ideal for professionals with strong accounts payable experience who are comfortable handling high transaction volumes and ensuring compliance with financial and tax regulations. Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice verification and processing through to final payment
• Handle vendor payments, supplier statement reconciliations, and control of AP ageing
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain approvals and resolve invoice or payment-related queries
• Support month-end closing activities and assist with accounts payable reporting
• Ensure proper VAT compliance for all AP transactions and maintain accurate supporting documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• At least three years of experience in a similar accounts payable role
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and strong proficiency in advanced Excel
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to join immediately is highly preferred
