A well-established organization in Sharjah is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant / Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. This role is suitable for individuals who have a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and are looking to further develop their careers within a professional working environment.

The successful candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, financial record maintenance, reporting activities, and administrative finance tasks. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate financial information while supporting the overall efficiency of the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain financial transactions accurately and efficiently

• Prepare invoices, expense reports, and payment-related documentation

• Follow up on outstanding payments and support collection activities

• Assist with account reconciliations and monthly financial reporting

• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documents

• Support the finance team with routine accounting and administrative tasks

• Ensure accuracy in financial data entry and record keeping

• Assist in preparing reports required by management

• Support compliance with internal accounting procedures and policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Previous accounting experience is preferred

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications

• Knowledge of accounting software will be considered an advantage

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
