Description:
Square Aluminum is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for finance professionals who can manage daily accounting activities while ensuring financial records remain accurate and compliant with company policies.
The successful candidate will support the finance department by handling accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, performing reconciliations, and assisting with budgeting and audit activities. Candidates with experience in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering environments will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial records are accurate.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for management.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and audit requirements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering industries is preferred.
• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Microsoft Excel
• Accounting and ERP software
• UAE VAT and tax requirements
