Description:
Best Marine is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for professionals who can start immediately and are looking to contribute to a dynamic business environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting month-end and year-end financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working with ERP or computerized accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including data entry, invoice processing, and payment processing.
• Conduct weekly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries as required.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform account reconciliations and support daily accounting operations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and preparation of reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting or finance experience within the UAE.
• Experience working with ERP and computerized accounting systems.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and career-focused approach.
• Available to start immediately and work on-site in Abu Dhabi.
