Description:
Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Account Specialist to join our team. This role serves as the primary liaison for customer accounts, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, timely communication, and exceptional customer service. The Account Specialist will work closely with sales, operations, and plant teams to enhance customer satisfaction and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Management
- Act as the main contact for customer inquiries, orders, and updates.
- Process and track customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate proactively regarding shipments, changes, and service requests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Plant Managers, and Scheduling to meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
Operational Support
- Monitor inventory aging, customer RFQs, and warranty claims.
- Provide monthly strategic forecasting insights using JDE or Power BI.
- Identify potential service issues and address them proactively.
Continuous Improvement
- Recommend and support process improvement initiatives.
- Optimize warehouse efficiency and resolve product-related challenges.
- Share feedback and improvement opportunities with leadership.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on approach with ability to handle products (crates, trays, pallets).
- Experience with Salesforce, JD Edwards (JDE), and/or EDI preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel 10–20% as needed.
