The Account Specialist, Growth plays a critical role in supporting high-volume transactional customers and ensuring a positive end-to-end sales experience. This role focuses on engaging inbound prospects, clearly communicating the value of 1Password’s solutions, and aligning customer needs with the right product offerings.
In this position, you will build strong relationships with new and existing customers, guide them through the sales process, and provide best-practice recommendations to help them get the most value from the platform. The role is ideal for a proactive, customer-focused professional who enjoys technology and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
This is an in-office designated role, requiring regular presence at 1Password’s Toronto or Austin office (3–5 days per week). All go-to-market roles include in-person onboarding in Toronto.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in sales, account management, customer success, or a related SaaS role
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and consistently meet revenue and performance targets
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
• Experience handling high volumes of inbound customer interactions via phone, email, and chat
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Proven relationship-building and interpersonal skills
• Preferred experience with password managers, Salesforce, Gainsight, or similar tools
What You Can Expect:
• Manage a portfolio of clients by understanding goals and resolving challenges with tailored solutions
• Qualify inbound leads and manage the full deal cycle from discovery to close
• Coordinate demos, proposals, and onboarding handoffs to ensure a smooth customer journey
• Proactively assess customer usage and identify expansion or upsell opportunities
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Onboarding, Marketing, and Growth teams
• Track and analyze KPIs such as deal velocity, activity metrics, and close rates
• Maintain accurate records and reporting using Salesforce
Compensation & Benefits (USA-Based Roles):
• Base salary range of $60,000–$81,000 USD plus commission

Work Approach:
