Description:
onPeak is currently hiring an Account Services Associate to support the Account Services department with a wide range of operational and client-facing responsibilities. This role is an excellent entry point into the dynamic world of event hotel accommodations and is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, service-driven, and excited to work in a fast-paced events environment. The position works closely with Directors of Account Services and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of hotel programs for major events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute the onPeak service plan to deliver high-quality customer service while strengthening brand loyalty and driving room night capture and revenue
• Enter, review, and quality-check hotel contracts within the proprietary COMPASS Reservation System®
• Manage accuracy and delivery of rooming lists and conduct audits with hotel partners
• Serve as a key communication touchpoint, advising event teams on VIP and group management strategies
• Manage project timelines and collaborate with internal departments to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
• Support exhibitor and group outreach, promoting available services and products
• Analyze hotel block performance and registration trends to identify revenue growth opportunities
• Increase hotel pick-up through creative outreach via scheduled emails and phone communication
• Prepare post-event reports and recommendations to improve future performance
• Travel on-site to events as needed to support client interaction and on-site operations
Account Services Department Functions:
• Build and maintain hotel inventory within COMPASS Reservation System®
• Apply contractual terms including cancellations, deposits, and change policies
• Manage reservations, rooming lists, cut-off dates, waitlists, and duplicate bookings
• Resolve invalid or declined credit card issues
• Initialize, track, and complete hotel audits and compile audit results
• Utilize internal systems such as AXIS®, FogBugz, and Basecamp for coordination and reporting
Qualifications & Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills
• Highly detail-oriented with a proactive and self-motivated approach
• Ability to quickly learn technical systems and project management tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% as required
