We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to help lead our partnerships and drive long-term impact—particularly across our New York-based initiatives—with potential expansion into other regions. This person will play a central role in launching programs, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring delivery excellence across every touchpoint.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Spearhead the rollout of new client programs, managing multi-party involvement and ensuring seamless execution.
- Own a portfolio of strategic accounts, acting as the go-to person for partner inquiries, escalations, and long-term support.
- Build trust and strong working relationships with key decision-makers and daily contacts alike.
- Conduct consistent check-ins with partners to review outcomes, offer optimizations, and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate across internal teams to coordinate priorities, streamline communication, and resolve operational challenges.
- Act as a trusted consultant, helping clients unlock the full value of Tangelo’s services through customized insights.
- Monitor account performance metrics to improve engagement, drive adoption, and demonstrate program outcomes.
- Spot potential for cross-selling or upselling within accounts and lead those conversations strategically.
- Deliver clear, data-rich performance reports to internal teams and external partners.
- Keep a pulse on industry and market trends to provide forward-thinking strategies for each partnership.
What You Should Bring to the Table:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or similar roles—healthcare or social impact industry experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder accounts with success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including comfort with presenting data and navigating tough conversations.
- Strong ability to build authentic, long-term relationships and deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Background in launching or scaling programs across multiple departments or teams.
- Analytical approach with the ability to convert data into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Sheets/Excel, CRMs, and other project management platforms.
- Able to thrive in a mission-driven, fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration mindset.
- Passionate about improving food access, public health, or health equity.
- Willingness to occasionally travel for in-person meetings and events.
